Take a minute to think about all the stereotypes that encircle and bind you. From the way you live and what you study, to the profession you choose and even how you dress, there are probably more stereotypes than laws in the world. It is toxic and tiring. Through this project I want to create an identity for her - Besharam Babe (shamelss babe) and use design to rebel against this crazy world that keeps telling her who she is.
Besharam Babe is a passion project that started as a creative outlet to revive my love for drawing and making hand-made things with an online shop coming soon.
A dynamic logo with a rebellious attitude that does not conform and is ever changing. The sketchy and bold hand lettering aesthetic is combined with a rather feminie typface.
Personalized hand made cards with love for every occasion to celebrate and empower more and more Besharam Babes around the world.
These cards were sent out using snail mail to dear ones in Germany, United Stated, Canada and India during the global pandemic of 2020.
Shedding light on my community’s tabooed subjects, exploring the customs, traditions and just being human – these are just some of the incredible things that impactful design can trigger. Change can be made, or at least initiated, physically and more importantly, mentally when a platform for dialogue is created.
